Bisbee has been a hub of mining and shipping—a vibrant city of immigrants. Now a hub for artists, entrepreneurs, tourists, and ghosts (yes–ghosts!), Bisbee is one of Arizona’s treasures. Photographer Virgil Hancock captures the essence of Bisbee’s past and present in his new photography book, Bisbee: The Alchemical City of the Borderlands. Bisbee’s fascinating history is not only filled with art and architecture, but also reflects many contemporary issues of the Southwest. The author will be in attendance to talk about the book and work.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
This event is free, requires a reservation, and will occur inside. Face coverings are optional.
