In-Person Presentation | Iconic Objects, Sites, and People in Tucson – Part II 2 PM

March 22 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join Alan Kruse, local historian, and tour guide, and learn more about several objects, sites, and people in Tucson and the story behind them. The focus will be on the history and public art of Tucson. Items include Lalo Guerrero and his battle with Disney, the Bike Church, the President’s Pond on the U of A campus, the bell from the U.S.S. Arizona, the Bear Down story, Jenny Finch, and the Griffin. The goal is to make life more enjoyable by appreciating our surroundings.

This event is free, requires a reservation, and will occur inside. Face coverings are optional.
