In-Person Presentation | Venomous Animals of the US and Canada 2 PM

March 16 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Venomous Animals of the Tucson area…and Beyond!

Join Larry Jones as he embarks on a visual journey across the gamut of venomous animals of the US and Canada, zeroing in on the American Southwest. Tucson has one of the highest diversities of venomous animals in the US. Awareness of our surroundings is the first step in staying safe at home, in the yard, and while exploring the backcountry. Learn how to recognize and avoid danger and what to do if bitten or stung. The presentation’s intent is not to frighten people but to encourage you to respect and enjoy watching these awe-inspiring animals that also call the Southwest home.

Venomous Animals of the United States and Canada will be available for purchase, and author signings will take place after the presentation.

This event is free, requires a reservation, is limited to 60 participants, and will occur inside. Face coverings are optional.
