In-Person Presentation | The Ranger Chronicles

September 19 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join the WNPA Book Club and retired park superintendent Deb Liggett, a 25-year veteran of the National Park Service who has worked in Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Minnesota, Wyoming, and Alaska for a lively discussion about her book Pilgrim, Paddler, Poet: The Ranger Chronicles: Tales from a Life in the National Parks.

Deb served as superintendent at Devils Tower National Monument in Wyoming and at Katmai National Park and Preserve and Lake Clark National Park and Preserve, both in Alaska. She’ll discuss what it’s like to work at the National Park Service and her book, part memoir, part celebration of the natural world, and part insider journalism—which will be available for purchase through The National Parks Store.

This event is free, requires a reservation, and will occur inside. Face coverings are optional.
