It’s all about LIGHT! Safely observe the sun with a Hydrogen-alpha telescope to see the various features of the sun. Analyze sunlight with a spectroscope. Browse the current information boards describing the sun and the electromagnetic spectrum and discover how the Sun affects us here on earth. Talk with our solar educator. Every visitor will receive solar glasses to safely look at the sun after they leave.

This free multigenerational program is presented by Timmy Telescope Solar Astronomy Outreach in partnership with the National Park Service. Appropriate for all ages 8 (grade 4) and above.
