ALAMOGORDO – White Sands National Park announces National Fossil Day events highlighting paleontology’s scientific and educational value and the importance of preserving fossils for future generations.
To celebrate, White Sands invite you to celebrate by joining park rangers at “Dig Into the Past” on Saturday, October 8, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Branigan Cultural Center and the Museum of Nature & Science in Las Cruces. In addition, join us at the park’s visitor center theater for a special presentation of the PBS series NOVA: Ice Age Footprints.
