Become a Junior Ranger

The Junior Ranger program is a fun way to get even the youngest travelers interested in national parks. This activity-based program offers young visitors the opportunity to join the National Park Service “family” as Junior Rangers. After completing the activities in the free and engaging booklets, young visitors share their answers with a park ranger, and receive an official Junior Ranger patch and Junior Ranger certificate. Rangers are typically between the ages of 5 to 13, although people of all ages can participate.

Shop for your park trip

When you shop online and in our park stores in visitor centers, you’re not only capturing your park memories, you’re also supporting the parks.
