Since 1984, WNPA has honored both professionals and students who are passionate about our national parks. Honorees are awarded based on their exceptional contributions to the parks and helping to create awareness of the WNPA mission. We recognize students from any background that are considering careers with the National Park Service, similar government agencies, or conservation organizations. Within our own workforce, we promote leadership and professional development training to help grow skills and knowledge relevant to the mission of WNPA and the National Park Service.
