Are you a professional in the public lands community with valuable expertise to share?
TerraSync, a training symposium hosted by Western National Parks Association (WNPA), is looking for knowledgeable presenters to lead sessions that will support and inform attendees.
About TerraSync 2025
Scheduled for June 24-26, 2025, in Tucson, Arizona, TerraSync is a gathering for front-line managers, mid-level leaders, regional directors, and key personnel from various organizations within the public lands community. Our goal is to provide these leaders with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively support national parks and public lands.
Join us in inspiring, empowering, and educating public lands leaders at TerraSync 2025!
What We’re Looking For
Presentations should align with one or more of TerraSync’s themes of collaboration and relationships, leadership, and diversity and inclusion.
- Collaboration and Relationships
- Focus on building effective partnerships and managing multi-party strategies.
- Possible topics include Annual Operating Plans, Scope of Sales, Director’s Order and RM 32, Direct Aid Planning, Managing Joint Intellectual Property, and Building Tribal Partnerships.
- Content should enhance collaborative problem-solving abilities and execution strategies.
- Leadership
- Focus on practical skills that leaders need.
- Possible topics include Effective Management, Emotional Intelligence, Conflict Resolution, and Project Management.
- Sessions should provide tools and exercises to improve leadership capabilities.
- Diversity and Inclusion
- Focus on insights that lead to more equitable relationships and open communication.
- Possible topics include Cultural Competence, Inclusive Leadership, Unconscious Bias, Dialogue Skills, Accessibility, and Universal Design for Inclusion.
- Sessions should promote understanding and implementation of inclusive practices.

Submission Guidelines
While the first round of presenter proposals has closed, we are still accepting submissions via the electronic form.
The form includes:
- Presenter Contact Information.
- Session Title/Topic: Concise and engaging session title.
- Session Summary: Including key topics and the overall aim.
- Learning Objectives: 2-3 key takeaways or skills participants will gain.
- Target Audience: Specify intended audience (e.g., front-line managers, regional directors).
- Track Selection: Collaboration & Relationships, Leadership, or Diversity & Inclusion.
- Presenter Bio: Brief bio highlighting your passion, experience, and expertise.
