Battle of Glorieta Pass Hike
The Battle of Glorieta Pass was one of the most influential battles of the Civil War fought over March 26-28, 1862. Join a park ranger for a hike along the historic Battlefield Trail and see how it played a role in this pivotal battle.
Hike meets at the visitor center, and attendees then caravan out to the Battlefield Trail in their own vehicles, about a 15 minute drive from the visitor center.
Hike will be 1.75 miles in distance over moderately strenuous terrain. Participants should bring a snack, water, and good footwear.
