Boiler Wash Day for Jupiter

Maintaining 1860’s technology has not changed much, and the same painstaking maintenance and the reliability of this technology are still issues today. Each run season the locomotives head back to the engine house for needed maintenance to keep them up and running.

The Jupiter should be back on line by 2pm next day (October 15), but there can always be a unexpected delay.
