Celebrate Trails Day in Hayward

Come celebrate Trails Day with us with:

• a site walk of local trail segments, including the National Park Service's Anza 250 site
• a public screening of "From Rails to Trails" PBS documentary
• collaboration with the National Park Service on Anza 250 commemoration efforts
• an overview of the Bay Area Trails collaborative footprint

Friday April 24, 2026:

12:30PM – 1:00PM Local Trail Tours (conducted simultaneously: meet in front of the Douglas Morrison Theater for both)

• The Anza Expedition Capsite #98 (with the National Park Service)
• A New Foothill Trail Segment and Pocket Park (with HARD and WRT staff)

1:15 PM– 2:15 PM Film Screening: “From Rails to Trails" (a PBS documentary)

2:15 PM – 3:00 PM Audience Q&A with Select Panel

3:00 PM – 3:30 PM Optional: Site visit to t he Foothill Trail's Grove Way to Carlos Bee Segment (a heartier trek with HARD and WRT staff)
