Cool Morning Desert Hike (West District)

Join us for a 3-mile, 3-hour guided hike along the Gould Mine and King Canyon Wash trails. Led by a park ranger, this hike highlights fascinating aspects of the natural and cultural history of Saguaro National Park. The route gains approximately 200 feet in elevation and includes some rocky sections. Meet at 7 AM at King Canyon Trailhead off Kinney Road. No reservation is required, but parking is limited. Please bring at least 2 liters of water, a salty snack, wear hiking shoes, and wear sunscreen, as temperatures will rise throughout the hike.
