"Growing Up in Three Worlds: A Pueblo Park Ranger’s Story"
 
Join Park Ranger Jerome Martinez for a pleasant evening talk at the Bandelier Amphitheater. Ranger Jerome will evoke the audience of various ages, nationalities, and backgrounds, on how it was for him to born and raised in Los Alamos and at the same time being raised at San Ildefonso Pueblo.
 
Ranger Jerome started his journey at Bandelier on the NPS in 1995 working as a forestry technician on the Parks wildland fire engine crew and is a survivor of the Dome Fire of 1996.
He ended his fire career at Bandelier as an Assistant Supervisory Forestry Tech in 2007.
 
Ranger Jerome is currently a Park Guide who works in Visitors Services as an Interpretive Guide since 2022. Today he is working toward retirement as a Park Ranger. Listen as Ranger Jerome talks about life today, multi cultures, and his life with his wife Bea who is Dakota from the Spirit
