Junior Ranger Day

The National Park Service (NPS) and Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invite families to celebrate Junior Ranger Day in in April. Drop in for a day of hands-on activities celebrating the unique volcanic landscape of El Malpais. Whether you’re working toward earning your Junior Ranger badge or just looking for a fun family outing, there is something for everyone.

Locations: El Malpais National Monument Visitor Center (1900 E Santa Fe Ave, I-40 Exit 85) and the BLM El Malpais Ranger Station (9 miles south of I-40 Exit 89 on NM Highway 117)
