Junior Ranger Star Quest
National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management park rangers are partnering for an evening of stargazing. The event will begin with an indoor astronomy talk at 7:30 pm, followed by telescope and star viewing outside. Bring a flashlight or headlamp, preferably one with a red light setting. Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or looking up for the first time, there will be fun for everyone! Come explore the dark skies above one of New Mexico’s most spectacular volcanic landscapes.
Please note that this event is at the Bureau of Land Management Ranger Station, located 9 miles south of I-40 Exit 89 on NM Highway 117.
