Located in Coconino National Forest, Sedona’s mesmerizing pink sandstone formations, miles of hiking and biking trails, and wellness offerings make it a must-visit. It’s also the perfect gateway to many national parks known for their Indigenous heritage sites, including Tonto, Montezuma Castle, Tuzigoot, and the Flagstaff-area monuments, Sunset Crater Volcano, Wupatki, and Walnut Canyon.  

Sedona is well known for its vibrant arts community, a multitude of dining options and wineries, and bustling retail district. These stunning high desert landscapes are the ancestral home of many Indigenous tribes, including the Western Apache, Hopi, Yavapai, and many others, and their cultural connections continue to shape the region today.
