Night Sky Program

Join Park Rangers at Golden Spike National Historical Park for a Night Sky Program on Friday October 09, 2026.

Connect with the past through the skies that tie us together. Team up with Rangers, Astronomers, and other park visitors to explore stars, galaxies, and planets after dark with the transcontinental railroad as a backdrop to the history of the stars.

Program includes: 

• Ranger Guided Constellation Tour 
• Telescope Viewing 

What to bring: Jacket, Chair, Water, and a Red Flashlight.
