Bats of the Canyon

What is spooky season without bats?

Join Ranger Zach on October 24 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cal S. Taggart Visitor Center to discover the fascinating world of bats and the species that call Bighorn Canyon home.

Learn how bats navigate in the dark, why they are important to healthy ecosystems, and what makes these often-misunderstood animals some of the most remarkable creatures of the night.

Whether you're a bat enthusiast, a wildlife lover, or simply looking for a fun fall activity, this program is open to all ages.
