Lakin Epaloose Presentation

Zuni cultural connections to the land are rooted in waterways, pre-historic migration routes and vegetation, and special guest presenter Lakin Epaloose will demonstrate these connections through his art and work at Grand Canyon. As an oil painter and jeweler, he continues to develop his career as an artist while also establishing a career with the NPS and conservation work. Join us for a presentation by Lakin and learn about tribal connections to our ancestral homelands.

Lakin will be discussing aspects of his work as an artist and at Grand Canyon, then transition to how oral history is the foundation of Zuni connections to Chaco and the surrounding areas. Join us in the visitor center auditorium for this free presentation.
