Summer Solstice Sunrise Program

Join park rangers to observe the alignment of the summer solstice sunrise at Casa Rinconada. Please park in the visitor center parking lot before the gate opens instead of parking on the road itself. Gates will open at 5:15 am and park rangers will direct traffic to the Casa Rinconada parking lot, and Pueblo Bonito parking lot if/when the Casa Rinconada parking lot fills up. Attendance is limited to the first 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis. The ranger will meet visitors at Casa Rinconada. Please follow instructions on where to stand to observe the alignment. A brief ranger talk will occur around sunrise.
