Located along historic Route 66 in the heart of many Indigenous peoples’ homelands, Gallup is a cultural hub known for its deep Indigenous roots and stunning desert landscapes. 

With vibrant art markets, historic trading posts, and scenic red rock formations, the town offers a rich blend of history and outdoor adventure. The Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, and Pueblo are some of the many Indigenous Peoples that call the region home, and their traditions, artistry, and heritage continue to be central to Gallup’s identity today.
