In the heart of the Mojave Desert, Twentynine Palms (also known as 29 Palms) is a small town with big character just north of Joshua Tree National Park.

The town’s emphasis on the arts is evident in its many unique shops, vintage stores, murals, and galleries. This community can serve as a relaxed desert escape or the basecamp for adventurers looking for miles of hikes or exciting climbs. The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, a Chemehuevi People, have long called this region home and continue to influence local culture with their rich heritage and enduring connection to the land.
