Junior Ranger - Western National Parks Association

Junior Ranger

Explore. Learn. Protect.–From Anywhere

Western National Park Association has partnered with the National Park Service (NPS) to develop and distribute Junior Ranger activity booklets as part of its support of 70+ national parks. Available at their respective parks and online, these booklets provide a fun way to learn about national parks, park visitor safety, and conservation while improving their reading and spelling skills.

Junior Ranger activity booklets are great for summer learning, homeschooling, and other teaching settings. If you help out your Junior Ranger with the activity booklet, you also can learn a lot about national parks and even plan for a visit.

Each national park has its own rules for earning the Junior Ranger badge. Check the information before printing out the booklet.
